We are proud to launch Renew Salon, a project of Dr. John Joseph Foundation in partnership with the Department of Children Welfare and Special Services, Government of Tamil Nadu.

For months, our volunteer and professional hair stylist Mr. Venkat has been training the boys at the Government Observation Home, Kellys, Chennai – 10. Today, this training has transformed into a fully functional Salon inside the Observation Home.

It was a joyful moment to have the Hon’ble Judicial Magistrate, Mrs. Sakila Banu, inaugurate the salon. We were also honoured by the presence of Tmt. Shilpa Prabhakar Sathish, who witnessed the boys confidently demonstrating their new skills.

Our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Glory Gunaseeli, Superintendent of the Observation Home, for her constant support and encouragement.

Alongside this initiative, our Foundation also runs football coaching, helping the boys stay disciplined, focused, and goal-driven.

We truly believe these opportunities will empower the boys to build a livelihood, gain confidence, and turn over a new leaf in life.
